Our organization, Appalachian Landowners’ Coalition, was formed to provide strength in numbers.  In an effort to maximize available bonus payments and royalties, we sought to form a core group of individuals located in Venango, Forest and Mercer counties who wished to do the same.

Our organization was formed by local landowners, attorneys and industry professionals who have a concern for our community and a unique skill set.  

Much time was spent reviewing our contracts and documents to ensure a balance of interests between the industry, our community and the respective landowners.    We personally drafted our contracts to be protective in nature.  I believe that we have accomplished.

At the present time, we have secured an offer of $2,500.00 per acre and 15% royalty from production (with no company deductions for fees or costs).  We have personally completed the title process, cleared thousands of acres of title and written bonus checks.   

Our hope is that the overall bonus and royalty payment will be much higher than the guarantee, based upon the size of the group; as well as, the legal, title and mapping work performed.  In the unlikely event that we are unable to attain an agreement providing at least $2,000 per acre and 15% royalty, you would be under no obligation to continue and our agreement would cease.
